Mist covered over the slow rocking of the waves that churned and landed on the shore. It was low tide now and was very calm and cool. Small pebbels covered the shore and made a crunching when he stepped on them. Now he had soft sand underfoot and it felt even more comforting.
His name was Mist. A kind, gentel, loving stallion. He was never mad and never went off the handel. Grey pelt shimmered again the light reflecting off the surf. The sun was just rising and it felt peaceful here. He walked a bit more his head hung low to the ground, breath that you could see from the cold blew from his nostrils. His neck then arched a bit and his audits pricked forward in interest to the gathering surf that now seemed to surge forward on the shore. His blue orbs looked out to sea as he stopped his hooves firmly planted in the wet sand.
He then turned an aud to the right. He had heard something but what he thought. He turned his head to the noise but it was only a palm tree that had recently fallen nearby and a small animal was sharpening his claws. He picked his head up high and his long forlock fell to one side. He then bobbed his head as he turned his hooves to and picked up a slight trot. His hooves sinking into the soil as he planted them firmly down as he picked up a canter. He arched his neck a bit more and his mane bobbed against his neck, his mane was long and grey, a bit darker then his pelt, his tail blew back into the salty air that brushed past him.
Who would he meet today he thought because he was always looking to meet someone new?

Wild wind was close by and gave a small nicker to the stag she saw. She stomped her dagger on the grown as her orbs met his. He inched her way closer but stopped not knowing if he was light or dark. She was haping he was light. She was scared or darks. They had made her a slave before. Her brown orbs still stared into his.

OOC: Sorry it's so short, I'm museless.
Polaris walked along the sandy beach, he white coat shining in the sun. It was warm out, and the ocean breeze was lovely, with a scent of seasalt in it. Looking out at the sea, she admired the aqua color, and grinned. Bunching the muscles in her rear legs, she lurched forward and leapt into the water, whinnying proudly. It was cool and refreshing, and she ran around happily as the water lapped at her body.
She was hailed Polaris, because when she was born, the first thing she looked at was the North Star. She was brash, sarcastic, and mildly twisted, but, polite on occasion, and oddly loveable.
Movement on the shore caught her eye, and she looked up to see another horse. The horse was a silver stallion, very handsome, and of smaller breeding than herself. She snorted and went deeper into the water, so she had to paddle to keep afloat. She kept watching him, intrigued, and noticed that he paid a lot more attention to his surrounding than she did. Curiously, she moved closer to him, to get a better look, and called to him.
Hey, horse boy, I'm Polaris. Who're you?

Mist kept up his canter and when he heard the voice he stopped abrupty digging his hooves into the sand. The sand flung up in the air as his musceles in his rump bunched at the effort. Long legs infront extended forward as he stopped himself. He moves his legs around so now he stode right again after being in an awkward state for a moment.
His ears swiveled to the noise and then his head moved. Forlock whipped back into place from the wind back into his eyes. You could barely see his blue orbs but he could see perfectly. He saw the white mare that had approached near him with out him noticing from in the surf and another mare from the land was off to his blind spot as he could see from the corner of his eye.
He snorted and lifted his head a bit higher. Shoulder quivered as he looked a closly as to see that none were a threat to him or to each other. They looked safe and he knew he would stop anything if anything did happen. Nostrils flared as he waited a moment before he spoke. His voice was calm and gentel but high so the mare could hear, well the other mare could hear as well but he was directing it to both even though only the white one asked.
I'd be Mist he said. And you would be? he asked the white one directly for he was looking at her.
Pelt shimmered in the sun and his mane blew back against his withers and neck. Tail curled round his forleg. He took a step forward tords the suf and onto some rocky pebbels. He picked his hoove up from where he had just placed it and then put it off to the side for he hated to stand on rocky pebbels such as those. He looked a bit awkward in his stance but he felt comfortable for he could dash off if he wanted to at any moment if he wished.
Ears pricked forward tords the mare in interst. He then moved one ear the the right to where he could hear the other mare if she spoke as well. He waited for her to speak, either of them.

Pinto hued fae came two beating forward, a slight smile upon her maw. She looked to the other vixen's only a show of slight disappointment on her tiara, She bent her nape low, blowing at the sand, amusing herself for just one second before approaching everyone.
Hello.
she said said gently, her song like tunes reaching out to all of the horses audits. Her smile broadened as she came closer, her flints leaving small prints in the sand as her pillars came towards them.

Mist turned his head to look at her. He smiled to her.
Hello. he said. I'd be Mist, and you? he asked her.
His forlock flopped back into his eyes and covered most of his expression for it was nice and gentel anyway. Mane hung against his neck and stretched far down his neck. Tail was caught in the slight breeze and was whipped up into the air as it started to be carried away a bit some of the straggely hiars flew way up in the air. Pelt shone against the sand as the sun was no almost fully up. He picked up a hind leg and bent his hoove, resting it. He loved to be relaxed especially now he was going to be calm and nice as usual. He looked at the chestnut mare as she approached. Smile still on his maw he awaited all the mares names.

A bird flew through sky above the me, as I stood in the cool water. I smirked and laughed at Mist, for I had already told him my name.
I am Polaris, I told him, not in the mood to mock him. I hardly knew him, but I already liked him. Perhaps I just found myself a new friend. Actually, he'd be my first friend. I don't really tend to attract friends. I looked at him hard, analyzing him. He seemed to be a very good natured fellow, not easily annoyed. I could learn from him. Patience and kindness weren't my strong suits. It was difficult to see his eyes, but they looked to me to be blue, like mine, and I grinned. Not too many equines had blue eyes. I feel special.
Walking out of the sea, I shook myself like a canine, probably wetting Mist. It was then that I noticed the little black mare behind him, and I inwardly glared. No, go away little girl. Mist is my new friend. You can't have him. Yeah, I'm a little possessive, but it ain't my fault! It's the little green goblins in my head. Looking at Mist, I saw that I had been correct about his eyes. Dark blue. Purdy. And he was handsome. Much smaller than me, but not a small horse in general.

She laughed with her pools. Could he not see it in her orbs?
I be Aquila.
She told him, smiling now to him with her velveteens. She looked to the other fae and fakely smiled to her, screaming on the inside. She then shook her dial, her tresses flying around as she giggled.

Mist looked to both of the mares a smile appearing on his maw. This may get ugly he thought as the mares exchanged glares with each other. He seemed to attract many friends but some of them may have attitudes he saw. He watched Polaris more closely for she was the bigger of all of them and could be the most dangerouse but he could see a side of her in her eyes that she was nice now but her mood could change. He looked to the chestnut mare. His smile still apon his face. All of them were beautiful but right now he was just looking forward to having friends and then would be it for now.
His blue orbs looked upto the heavens his smile fading from his muzzel. As of in guidence he looked up to the heavens and closed his eyes. He then opened them and looked back having both the chestnut and white mare in his vision for the other one seemed a bit more skittish and hadn't told him her name anyway. Forlock hung in his eyes so he tossed his head up into the air and it moved to the side of his cheek. Now he thought they could see his real eyes, the color mostly for they were of a deep, intense blue. His smile appeared again as he began to speak again in his gentel and kind voice.
Nice to meet you he said to both of them. And what brings you here? he asked them as well.
He liked to know more about others then usually others liked to dish out to him but he didn't mind asking the only thing they had to say was "I feel uncomfortable telling you" or whatever he thought to himself. Some horses just didn't like to tell about there past or secrets or whatever he thought again but he wouldn't push it he wanted to make as many equine friends for he was king and wanted to know the horses within his land.

Fake smile. Ooooh, so original. Well, if she wants to be fake, and unoriginal, then that's her pathetic little choice. She didn't seem to bright to me, so I ignored her, and concentrated on Mist.
I'm lookin' for a home. So, Mist, where do you live? One might assume I meant to hint 'take me with you' but I wasn't, I was just making idle chit chat. The black mare had been mute up to now, and I hoped she stayed that way. Aquila was no threat, she was a fly on my rump. I waited for Mist's reply and watched a Squirrel have a seizure on a tree branch, and it was three minutes before I realized he was actually doing something a little more...private.
Who wants to go for a swim? I asked, looking at the three equines near me. My rear legs were still in the water, and a large fish swam between them, it's tail whipping my feathers.
